Preschool program

Danica had her preschool program last week.  It sure was cute!  They sang a few songs for us, some with actions or sign language.  Then hey did a few Christmas songs.  We were presented with our Christmas gifts (a painted jar), and then had lots of yummy goodies!

DAMN all the germs!

Even though I already facebooked this, I think it needs to be kept in the archives so I'll always remember.  The other day Danica was getting her jammies on, and she yelled, "Look at my damn panties!"  I thought maybe it was one of those times when she wasn't sure how to say a word and it came out sounding like a cusser.  So I asked her to say that again.  She said the same thing, a bit more timid this time.  I asked if she knew that damn was a naughty word and she said yes.  Hmmmm. Okaaayyyyy.  The look on my face must've said it all because she very quickly apologized and said she'll never say it again.

I want to throw out a big fat UGH tonight.  My sweet baby girl has her first fever.  I should've known something was wrong when she napped all afternoon.  She developed a low fever and I figured it must be caused by teething.  But tonight it turned a bit high for teething, and Tylenol doesn't seem to be helping.  Grrrr!  I just don't do well with fevers or vomiting... such a worry-wart!!

Past few weeks

Dani's outfit choices have been pretty interesting lately.  She's worn her pink princess dress for the past 5 days now. 

Reading her Bible and saying her prayers. 

Dani loves helping to feed her sister.  Keni drank about 1/50th of an ounce this day.

We all had a great time at Jerod's wedding and Brenna's birthday party.  Danica had the time of her life dancing at the wedding dance.  I didn't get any pictures though, because Keni and I were up in the motel room having our own little party.

No white after labor day

Danica was asking me about weddings today.  She's looking forward to Brenna's next wedding.  Apparently she thought the wedding in Bismarck the other weekend was her 2 year old cousin's wedding.  And she wants to know when it's going to happen again!  I told her Brenna's not having another wedding, but her Auntie Ali is pretty soon.  She thought for a minute and then said (kinda irritated), "Well... I suppose Ali's gonna have to wear a white dress too, huh."

Cough cough

Just a quick update:
It has been a very tough week for us here.  I got the flu this weekend and was completely out.  Kendella wasn't thrilled with not being with Mommy for a couple days, and I think Daddy wasn't thrilled with having to do everything by himself either!  The flu is gone, but a nasty head cold is here for both Kendella and I.  We both seem to have gotten a bit worse today.  Hopefully it'll be better by Saturday so we can go to Bismarck for some family fun... a wedding and a birthday party!  We'd hate to miss out on that.
Don't expect too much for updates and pictures in the next couple weeks.  It'll be quite busy for us!

Getting so big!

 We started rice cereal on Saturday, and she loved it!  It's hard to believe my little baby girl is going to be 4 months old in a couple days!

Poor Kendella.  She's learning to take all kinds of manhandling from her sister.

Our poor baby girl is not feeling too hot.  She's got a bit of a cold and has developed pink eye too!  A bit of tummy ache and diarhea don't help matters either (although that's Mommy's fault).  There's just nothing more heartbreaking than a sick and miserable baby.  It helps to have Danica here.  Keni loves to watch her sister, and Dani loves to be a monkey to make her smile!

Girl after my heart

For the first few years Duane and I were together I used to correct certain things he'd say. He'd say hunderd, and I'd say hundred. He'd say winner, and I'd say winter. Eventually I gave up being the speech police (most of the time) and haven't corrected those things in a couple years. The other day he and Dani were outside playing in the snow. They built snowmen and he pulled her around on the sled. When they got in Dani was complaining about wanting to go sledding some more. Duane said they had all "winner" to sled. Danica said, "No Daddy. It's not winner, it's WINTER!" BAAAHAHAHAHA! Daddy was not pleased.

Baptism

Kendella's baptism was wonderful! She fell asleep during the sermon like any good Christian would! :)
