"I'll take care of this"

While eating lunch today both Keni and Emma were making a LOT of noise.  I was just about to get up, but in a very down-to-business tone, Dani said, "I'll take care of this."  She got up from the table and danced in front of Keni for a minute.  No change.  So Dani shrugged and sat down to eat again.  While looking down at her plate she yelled, "I can't take this anymore!  Do something Mom!"

Danica:  Mom, can you remind me today that we need to go to the grocery store to buy some apple juice and hot chocolate?
Me: (silence)
Danica:  MOM!  Can you remind me?
Me: Uh, ok.
(Later that evening I got quite a scolding because I forgot to remind her)

Danica (while handing me a toy dollar bill):  Mom, take this money and go pay your car insurance.  I'll go pay for the motel room.

A tooth has arrived!

 Kendella had her 6 month appointment last week.  She's 18 pounds and 28 inches long... in the 97% for both.

 Danica got to have a sleepover with Hannah Saturday night and had a blast!  While the mommies went out for Ali's bachelorette party, Duane got to stay home with all 3 kids.  I'm not sure which one of us was more tired the next day!!!

 Chubs outgrew her baby tub and isn't quite ready for the big tub, so we got Mr. Ducky.  She loves it!  Although I'm not sure how long it'll last.  She just leans over and chews on it.  I'm waiting for her to chew a big hole in it.

By the way, I noticed a very sharp little tooth yesterday!  It isn't too visible yet, but you sure can feel it!
