Dani had a great program to end a great year in preschool!  She'll miss her school friends and teacher, but I'm sure it'll be a short sumnmer and she'll be back at "her" school in no time!

In the car today after church:

Me:  So Dani, what did you learn in Sunday School today?
Dani:  We learned about Jesus again.  And Bob too.
Duane:  Bob?
Dani:  No, Bob.
Duane:  Ya, Bob?
Dani:  No, BOB!
Duane:  Right, Bob??!!
Dani:  NO!!!  BOB!!!!  You know, he's in Jesus??!!
Me:  (laughing my rear off)  Are you saying Barb?
Dani:  No!  BOB!!! 
Me:  Who's Bob?
Dani:  He's in Jesus!

We left it at that and changed the subject.

My two sunshines

Since yesterday was Mother's Day, Danica keeps asking when Kid's Day is going to be.  I'm trying to convince her that every day is Kid's Day, but she's not buying it.

While I was rocking Keni to sleep this afternoon, I was humming "You are My Sunshine."  She put her hand on my cheek and hummed right along with me.  (Lump in throat)  You can see why I'm reluctant to give up rocking her to sleep.
