Keni seems to be trying to figure out all this name business.  The past couple weeks we've been having these conversations:

Keni:  Mom, what's your name?
Me:  Erica
Keni:  Oh, what's Daddy's name?
Me:  Duane
Keni:  Oh, what's Grammy's name?
Me:  Diane
Keni:  Oh, what's Grandpa's name?
Me:  Brian
Keni:  Oh, what's Caca's name?
Me:  Danica
Keni:  Oh, what's Averie's name?
Me:  Averie
Keni:  Averie?  What's Tate's name?
Me:  Tate
Keni:  Tate????  How come?
Me:  Because that's what his Mommy and Daddy named him.
Keni:  Ok

Huh?

Gonna have to work on that comedic timing.  ;)

Oh, the guilt!!!  3 months since I've posted anything.  It was an extremely busy holiday season this year... that's my excuse.  So HERE GOES!!!!

I was putting clothes in the washer this morning and Keni started calling my name.  I came upstairs and asked what she needed.  It went something like this:
Keni:  Mom!
Me:  What honey?
Keni:  Ona (means "I want") you do fabo oh me?
Me:  What?
Keni:  A you do fabo a me?
Me:  Um... huh?
Keni:  (yelling) A fabo!!!  Ona you do me a fabo!!??
Me:  A favor?
Keni:  Ya
Me:  You want me to do a favor for you?
Keni:  Ya.
Me:  What favor do you want?
Keni:  Um... um... ummmmm... in da kitchen????
Me:  What can I do for you?
Keni:  (giggles)  Nofing Mommy.

My 6 year old!
