Blow

For those of you who aren't on facebook...
Yesterday I was cutting up some carrots on Keni's tray and blowing on them because they were hot.  Keni watched me very carefully and then started blowing her nose on them.  Such a good little helper.

Dani's 4 (almost 5) pics

Family, let me know which pics and what sizes you'd like and I'll order them for you.  If I don't hear from you within a couple days, I'll order what I like for you.

All pics compliments of Auntie Ali's Photography.  Thanks for the great pics Ali... you did an amazing job!!!

Keni's 1 year (13 month) pics

Family, let me know which pics and what sizes you'd like and I'll order it for you... if I don't hear from you in a couple days, I'll just order what I like for you.

Meaty

There was just a cancer expert of some kind of the Dr. Oz show who said that one of the biggest causes of many types of cancers is lunch meat.  Actually any meat that is processed... lunch meat, ham, not sure what else?  He said it's the sodium nitrites and nitrates in it that change our DNA cells so they can't fight off cancer cells (which we all have in our bodies all the time).  He said even one piece of meat a week can be seriously dangerous.  Yikes!  So I found a lunch meat with  no nitrites or nitrates if anyone is interested, it's Hormel's Natural Choice.  They make sliced lunch meats and also chunk meats.  Everyone switch so we can keep you all around as long as possible!  :)

Sensitive girl

Dani loves listening to her Christmas music (just like her Mommy), but when the sad one comes on, she gets a bit sensitive about it.

Family fun

 Duane's boss Matt playing Sumo.

Kevin had to coax his daughter in... too perfect not to take a picture.

Keni found herself a little boyfriend.

By the end of the night, she was Kendella, Matt Faith, and Stacy Schaffer.

The kids had a blast at Family Safety Night.  It's a program that Duane's work puts on once a year.  The bouncy castle and bouncy maze/fun house was a favorite for Danica.  Keni just loved running around the gym for 2 hours.  It was go go go for her!!!
What a great weekend for the girls!  Danica got to spend a week with Averie and Tate at Grammy and Papa's house.  She was in her glory.  Saturday we had another family fun day with Duane's company... food, games, music, bouncy things.  All the good stuff in life.  Sunday was Hannah's birthday party at her Grandma and Grandpa's lake cabin.  Both girls had a blast and didn't want to leave.  We're all pooped!!!  :)

My actress

Lunch time fun

This mac-n-cheese/veggie meal should've pobably been fed to her.  Live and learn.

 Excited

 Not excited.

 Where's Waldo?

There she is.  I spent a long time looking for her today... these dang kids need to answer me when I call their names!  ;)

Some serious bed-head

Duane honestly woke up like this today.  Who needs hair gel?  Just give him a few hours of sleep and his hair styled to perfection.

Lunch time

Keni's first time using a spoon.

Slugger

There's no crying in baseball!!!!

Getting a little pep talk from the coach.

The little slugger up at bat.
Dani has been having a bit of  tough time at t-ball lately.  She gets very shy and nervous... not knowing the kids, not knowing what to do, a lot of people watching her.  Just like her mommy at that age.  During the last game she was so upset that the other kids were using her bat, she cried the whole time she played.  She eventually got herself so worked up that she threw up, and we obviously left early.  Little turkey.  Might be a little too young for t-ball yet.

Family visit

Ali walking with Dani, and Kendra with Keni walking beside Donna.  It was so cute but my camera wasn't working to get a close up.

Ali and Donna hard at work.
Our week in Bottineau was so nice.  We rarely get to see Auntie Donna and Ali (and Kendra, although we didn't see much of her because she was at Music Camp), so it was a fun time for us all.
