We had a great time this weekend at the Pumpkin Patch in Bismarck. It was a bit of an O'Shea reunion (Duane's mom's side of the family). Afterward we went to Aunt Sally's house and enjoyed some great company and great dinner. Fun weekend!

Funny first

Kendella laughed for the first time today!!! Well, she laughed while awake for the first time. I've heard her chuckle twice in her sleep... once waking herself up. I was tickling her tummy with one hand and neck with the other while she was on her changing table, and she let out a big old hardy chuckle! It reminded me of the way Danica used to laugh when she was younger - nice and robust!! Then I did it again, and she laughed again! Then of course I kept trying the rest of the day, and she just looked at me like I was ridiculous.

Health updates

Kendella had her 2 month appointment yesterday. She's 13 pounds and 23 1/2 inches long. That's the 97% for height and 97% for weight!! What a big girl! The doctor said she looks great and is a bit ahead of the game for motor development. She was surprised that she can get her hands up to her mouth to chomp on them!
While we were there we found out that Dani has a virus though! She's got a slight fever and a bumpy rash on her forehead (and now her arms too). Aaahh, the beginning of the school year... always brings some lovely germs! :)
On a side note, our sweet baby girl slept 11 hours last night! Now if only her big sister would sleep all night without waking up screaming, Mom and Dad would get some great sleep!!

Duane bought some strawberry cheesecake yogurt the other day. Dani found it and ran up to me with it saying, "Mommy, I LOVE this strawberry cake yogurt!!! And it only has a hundred five calories!!"
Hopefully this is just something she heard on a commercial, and she's not already stressing about dieting!!! :)
